Round Three of the First XI Cup
Christchurch BHS took on Westlake BHS. Christchurch Boys High Captain won the toss and elected to bat first, Christchurch Boys High opener Harry O’Loughlin scored an amazing 120 off 145 Balls and Captain Callum Sampson 58 off 68 Balls with a partnership of 115 Which helped set up Christchurch Boys High with a score of 273/9. Westlake BHS built a couple of small partnerships With a couple of players in the 40’s and 50’s but with the good Christchurch boy's high bowling lineup Christchurch BHS was able to defend their total of 273 by 4 runs.

Hutt International BHS played Otago Boys High. Hutt International BHS won the toss and elected to bat first. Lewis Jeffreys scored a brilliant 107 off 119 balls, and Connor Gatward, who was 2 runs away from a 100, also scored 98 off 93 balls. This created a 185-run partnership between the two players, which Hutt International BHS ended on 301/4. As for Otago Boys High School, the batters couldn't get it done. Otago Boys High School was bowled out for 126/10, with some handy bowling from Ollie Saunderson, who took 5 wickets.

St Paul's Collegiate vs Napier Boys' High School.  St Paul's Collegiate won the toss and elected to bat first. The Napier bowlers took charge with the ball and St Paul's Collegiate was 9-94 the 9th and 11th batsmen for St Paul's Collegiate put on a 67-run partnership so St Paul's Collegiate finished their innings on 161/10. However it wasn't enough to inform the top order, Napier Boys' High School chased down the score one wicket down with Zach Forster 74 not out and Andrew Rawnsley scored 52.
